border wars.

border wars.

im reading articles in the news, and i have got to admit, its not really looking so hot in the world right now.

the following is a list of things i personally feel are leading down a path of “not cool” for the united states, and our future. mostly “observations".

so first off, the obvious problems are iraq and afghanistan. those are problems unto themselves, but thats just a starting point for the many other problems facing the world today.

lets talk about tension on the borders. what we have right now is a neighbor in iraq, iran, that does not have a solid history with the united states. in fact, they kind of hate us, atleast the iranian government does. so thats cause for tension.

in afghanistan we have a neighbor, pakistan, that kind of wants to help out the united states, but at the same time, they are not cool with CIA under the guise of NATO launching unmanned drone attack in their country. imagine a country like france taking out known terrorist in our country, with or without the governments consent -- people would be pissed, and rightly so.however, the problem is that pakistan doesnt do much to curb the or deter terrorist from being in the country, and have actually been losing their own fight again radicals within the country. so its a huge mess over there.

then we get back home, and there is a ridiculous drug war happening on our border. brutally violent, and definitely not getting better with age. sooner or later the problem with the drug wars in mexico is that they are going to start spilling over deeper and deeper into the country. its already kind of started if you actualy pay attention, but soon there is going to be more news of this violence spilling over into more places than texas, new mexico, arizona, and california. nobody wants that, but whats being done to prevent it?

lets talk about other countries problems....

lets start with pakistan -- pakistan is being squeezed right now. they have radical militants, funded by iran, near the afghanistan border in the west. and to the east, they have india, and india and pakistan are not friends. not only are they not friends, they are just a major incident away from going to war with each other.

iran is currently being bottled in by the united states, with us having a major presence in both afghanistan and iraq, which both border iran -- and iran is letting it out there that they are not down with increased u.s presence in their backyard. imagine iran and russia fighting wars in mexico and canada; how you suppose the mood would be in america?

russia is slowly regaining its status as a super-power. putin is a smart dude, and he is working the political system in russia so that he can remain in power indefinitely. and while some ties to the united states are friendly, they are really not an ally to the united stated. and not only that, but they are starting to slowly reclaim the territories that were lost when the soviet union collapsed. countries like georgia that succeeded are now in threat of being swallowed back up into russia, along with others. russia also supplies weapons to all parts of the world that the united states does not cover. kind of like the “dish network” of the arms trade.

japan and china are not exactly friends these days either. lately more and more tension between the two countries has been rising. remember, japan went in during ww2 and treated the chinese like shit, and then later tried to change the history in japanese school books about what really happened. that pissed the chinese off and they demanded an apology, but it never happened. and recently, china cut ties with japan over some diplomatic dispute.

north korea and south korea are not cool, and really, no countries outside of russia, china, iran, venezuela, and cuba actually like n. korea.

n. korea and iran are the worlds current big threat for nucleur weapons.

i could write more, but i kind of ran out of steam.

ah ah.

maybe ill elaborate more later.
