these conservatives, republicans, and "others" (greed mongers) that encourage privatizing our "public" education and instead boost "for profit" charter school trip me out. why do they like to compare what we should be doing to places like "south korea" and "china", and suggest that somehow they have it right on education, and that we should follow the lead. they actually make a case that a class of 100 kids is better than a class of 30, just as long as we pay the teachers more money and invest in a little more training. since when does the unites states strive to be like south korea, or china? no offense to south korea, but for the benefit of making something more profitable, these guys will kick any sense of american pride out the window. whatever happened to patriotism? when did money pass pride as something to admire? they back up their ideas with skewed facts, polls, surveys, etc., and in a lot of instances, just plain lies. the rea...
