so now the former press secretary to the white house is saying that the president himself was involved in the leak of a cia operative. what happens when the president of the united states is a traitor? it would be a crime if you or i ousted an undercover agent. obviously the president is above the law, but is he totally above the law? will the white house face any tough questions about this?? andrew card was a weasel and total republican creep. but he always seemed to lie to us with a straight face and look of confidence, like he actually believed the trash coming out of his mouth. now he is telling the world that the highest order of government was directly involved in ousting a cia operative, just to squash the fact that iraq was zero threat to the united states. silence the critics and start a war. what does it take for a president to be impeached in this country? the sad part is that there are many assholes still out there that firmly believe their "support the troops" ...

it seems like everyday in the news there are more and more stories about corrupt assholes. is this really the current state of mind in america? has the bush administration totally led by example and demonstrated that the only way to do business is to be a shady asshole and milk any possible perk you can get?

"Iran is prepared to fill the vacuum" if the U.S. leaves Iraq." - Condoleezza Rice no fuckin shit they are ready to pick up the slack. iran fought an 8 year war with iraq and couldnt win. thanks to the mighty united states doing all the heavy work to overthrow a working (and yes, often brutal) government, and implement a non-working government that has almost no real authority...now all iran has to do is act like a good neighbor and the iraqi people will jump right on-board. they may not even like iran, but in their eyes, iran is still better than the united states. also, bush is gonna cut 30,000 troops. wow! now hopefully we can have the sort of success we were having over there before we had to send in the 30,000 less than a year ago. we all know how well iraq was doing then.

so in the news there are reports of iran bombing villages in northern iraq. what happens if iran where to send a military into iraq? its not like iraq has a real army, and the one they do have is barely holding itself together. iraqs military force is the united states. who has the responsibility of defending iraq? with hundreds of billions of our tax money invested in the war there is no way the united states wont flex its muscle. if iran goes into iraq we will no longer be in a war of choice. its a war of necessity if iran is purposely blowing things up near american "peace keeping" soldiers. maybe thats the whole point of this war. i think the united states is picking a fight. war! war! war!

i like how obama says what he thinks. im sick of politicians feeding us bullshit while using PC tones. "most" americans are not babies, and we can handle the reality of what state our country is in. for too long now america has been run by assholes that only care about their legacy and pet projects. somewhere along the line they forgot that they were voted into that job by the people, to "serve" the people. if the "lack of experience" thats always being held against obama means he wont be a puppet like g.w. bush has been...then im all for it.

i thought this paragraph was interesting. why does the bush administration believe our idea of democracy is a fix for the worlds problems? america uses torture and "rough tactics" in its interrogations of "terrorists". but now it appears iran may have used some of these tactics on british soldiers. how much criticism can the west have for them? it sounds like iran may have cast the first stone into a much bigger problem. they are now being openly defiant of the west, and it sounds like they are not afraid to engage with anyone that wants to fuck with them. a few more incidents like this, and we are going to be at war. i dont think they feel the need to cooperate with america anymore and are starting to question why america has all the power. thats bad news. america took away suddam hussein, and in doing so they basically handed iran all the power in that region. how is a western democracy supposed to work in iraq if iran has all the influence of the people? no government will ever work if its people dont even believe in it.

if there is one thing positive about g.w. bush and his administration...its that his shitty policies, and "shove democracy down our throats" approach to the world has made an entire generation of young people wake up and learn about how our government works. i never cared about politics until i realized just how bad a president could drag our country through the mud. it doesnt mean that saying "bush sucks" make a person political, but maybe it will make them want to know why he sucks. even now, with 70% of the country and many top politicians against sending more troops to iraq, bush still doesnt listen. then there is talk about the threat iran poses to us? wtf are we going to do in iran if we cant even handle iraq?? how does this administration expect to sell us another war, especially after fucking up on 2 so far? does he even need to sell us anything anymore? its like we gave iran all this power in the middle east just so we can pick a fight. war is profit, and m...
